These vegan chocolate brownies are beyond rich and are naturally sweetened! These are a treat, but I use coconut sugar due to its lower glycemic index!
Method
Ingredient
200g of your favourite vegan dark chocolate. I used coconut sugar sweetened chocolate
170g vegan butter
85g plain flour
60g cacao powder
200g-275g coconut sugar (will slightly change the texture of the brownie depending on how much you use, less sugar will yield a softer brownie) - I used 2006
1tsp baking powder
150ml soya/almond/oat milk
Method
Preheat oven to 175 degrees
Line 8x8 pan with greaseproof paper
Melt chocolate and butter together
In a medium sized bowl, mix all dry ingredients
Pour melted chocolate into the medium bowl
Add soya milk and mix until combined
Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs on!
