Oat Fudge Bars

These are the best and most satisfying treat. They are refined sugar free and super indulgent! They only take about 20 minutes to make and you can keep them in your fridge/freezer, taking them out when you need that snack!




These are very popular on Instagram at the minute so here is my take on the recipe:

 

Ingredients

Base and Top Layer

Fudge Layer

  • 110g peanut butter

  • 150g dark chocolate


Methods

  • Mix together oats, blended oats and salt.

  • Pour in coconut oil and maple syrup, and combine.

  • Press the majority of the mixture (around 3/4) into a tin, you can use a square tin or a round tin (I used an 8'' round).

  • Place in fridge for 30 minutes or freezer for 10-15 minutes.

  • Melt chocolate down and stir in peanut butter.

  • Pour mixture over the oat base.

  • Sprinkle remaining oats as the top layer.

  • Keep in freezer for around 45 minutes until set.

  • Enjoy!
